Technical Advice

Choosing a Technical Adviser is akin to selecting a member of staff: You want someone who you know you can work with and offer your organisation or business the support you want and need.

Each business and organisation require something different; From someone on the end of a phone to ask a question once a year, to an external 360 review of policies and practices, staff training and sign offs.

I work with you to identify your needs and then agree an appropriate level of service agreement, reviewable annually and extendable throughout the year if required.

  • Extensive levels of professional qualification (British Canoeing Level 5 Coach, Winter Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor, holding multiple NGB Coach and Leader tutor and assessor roles)

  • In depth understanding of Operating Procedures, Risk Assessment & Risk Benefit Analysis approaches.

  • Ability to offer in house training, competency sign offs & NGB awards to your staff team.

  • Wide range of personal experience, from local education centres to national centres.

  • Hold appropriate academic qualifications (MSc Performance Coaching, BA (hons) Outdoor Leadership & University Certificate in swiftwater rescue management.

  • Broad range of Technical Advice experience, from Universities to the Military.

Please get in touch for a discussion about how I can help you
